Professor Greenberg is an interesting character. He is extremely intelligent; the only problem is, he expects all of his students to grasp concepts as easily as he does. He rarely picks up a piece of chalk and does detailed examples on the board. Instead, he goes off on a tangent every twenty minutes, and he often doesn't cover the material as thoroughly as he should. I stopped going to his lectures halfway through the semester and attended Heath Hart's instead. Take Heath if possible, but if you're forced to have Greenberg, go to his office hours if you can. He doesn't mind helping if you really need it. Also, utilize your recitation TA if possible. They are probably more willing to help than Greenberg.

Greenberg seems to me to be an extremely intelligent man; unfortunately he's one of those professors that's on a completely different plane than everybody else (for a better example of this in the mathematics department see: Dr. Prather).
Most of the things that have been said sum him up well... If you've had experience with Vector Geometry before, then his class shouldn't be too difficult for you. He'll keep you awake (most of the time) if anything. Plus he'll give you a good idea of what most of the college teachers are going to be like. The NA for fairness in grading is due to the fact that everything but recitation is online.
If you have no background in Vector, I'd recommend another professor or start getting used to teaching yourself and learning from friends, this skill will definitely come in handy in your four years here.

I only showed up to this class for the entertainment value. I learned absolutely nothing in lecture and had to teach myself or ask friends for help who had already taken the class. Typical online Tech math course, weekly quizzes that you can use your notes for at home, you can practice them an unlimited number of times, exams are pooled only from quiz questions, and the final is only pooled from the exam questions. I got a 100 on the final because I went through and did every quiz problem from all ten quizzes over and over. Perks for this class: the textbook is cheap and this is a great review before physics because itīs all about vectors. The class definitely gets easier as the semester goes on except for the last module, which is easy once you get the hang of it. If you need to learn from a teacher, donīt get this prof. Otherwise, if you are looking for an entertaining time, go ahead. Recitation is where I got my questions answered, and definitely save recitation notes for quizzes.

If you have to take Vector, get Greenberg. My one friend stopped going to his class and another one had someone else but came to my lecture because of him. Absolutely hilarious but after the first day when he went through everything insanely fast and scared the class half to death, it was much more toned down and between him and all of the practice online quizzes, a good grade should definitely be obtainable with not too much work other than taking practice quizzes. The NA is just because it is the policy sheet for all of MATH 1224 but it is fine except for recitation which is mandatory, complete waste of time. But I'd say definitely get Greenberg if you can.
Oh, and definitely go to his lecture on cross products as long as he tells the same story. To take the cross product, just kill dracula and smack your girlfriend! If he doesn't, sorry for wasting your time.

Vector Geometry. He knows his stuff, but it means nothing if he can't communicate it to his students. He moves way too fast for most everyone to fully comprehend what he is saying and he expects that you already understand what he says because he's a math whiz and he thinks that everyone sees it the way he does. Not the case. I am slitting my wrists in this class and spending 4 hrs each on the weekly quizzes to get mediocre grades. He doesn't teach, he tells. You have to teach yourself. - on another note, hes loud and often goes on random tangents that distract from class. He makes noises and sound effects for some of his explanations that more or less confuse me and hurt my ears rather than clarify things. He often asks students to answer a question that you think is trivial. He will tell you that you are wrong and will proceed to explain that in the world of vector geometry, all you have previously learned is wrong.

Greenberg is a nice and entertaining man. However, he is hard to follow in lecture and usually goes off on tangents throughout the entire lecture. You have to listen very intently in the class because the majority of the things that come out of his mouth aren't important. Also, his notes are completely given by the coursebook, which I found difficult to understand. If you want to stay engaged in your class, I suggest getting a teacher other than Greenberg. Although a nice man and entertaining teacher, his ability to transfer his knowledge of the material to his students is not very good. However, those who have already had this class should sign up for Greenberg because he is entertaining. Most people who excelled in Greenberg's class taught themselves or received help outside of class.

Nice guy. A little hyperactive though but he really knows what hes talking about unlike 90% of the other teachers out there.

I had Greenberg for Vector Geometry. He is a very good teacher and, although things may seem complicated at times, it's just his way of teaching. His yelling and noises are insane but keep you awake. Modules are self-explanatory so I basically used them for the online quizzes each week, which you can do at home. Study for the exams and you'll be fine, but that's obvious. They are at the empo. Attendance is important as stated before so go to class. I got an A and you should too. If you don't understand, you will. If you're like me and basically knew everything already, then you will really be fine.

I took Vector Geometry with Prof. Greenberg and would say that he is a solid teacher for that class. Vector Geometry isn't too difficult and I could have gotten an A just by reading the online modules and taking the quizzes and tests. Unfortunately the class has required attendance so that was not an option for me.
Having to attend every class, I can say that he would keep things lively through the duration of the class with many combinations of noises and yells. He gave plenty of good examples and would always leave you good and prepared for the upcoming quiz.
All assignments outside of recitation are at the empo and the final is cumulative, so keep all your notes and practice quizzes organized.

Vector Geometry isn't that great of a class, however Dr. Greenberg makes it a little easier. His shenanigans in class, consisting of singing, screaming, or telling stories keep it a bit interesting.
For the most part, he spends the entire lecture cruising through his notes and showing you how to do problems on the next quiz. If you can keep up, you'll know all the methods and ace the quizzes.
Other than that, going to the emporium for exams sucks but you just have to deal. I do think this class should have some kind of curve in it though.
