A Few Rules
There are a few minor rules to live by while using Rate VT Teachers. Any evaluation submitted with inappropriate content (we'll be the judge) may be deleted or returned to the user to be corrected. Avoid personal attacks against teachers, especially ones that don't critique their teaching abilities. Users with user names that we deem inappropriate will be asked to change them. No single person may hold more than one Rate VT Teachers account.

Rate VT Teachers strives to make the information contained on this site as accurate as possible, however we can make no guarantee of accuracy. Since our reviews are submitted by a large cross-section of students we realize that some negative reviews may be motivated by a bad grade or personal dislike. Mathematically these few "revenge" reviews will be averaged out by other more accurate ones. The information is provided "as-is" for your own personal interpretation and use.
The reviews on Rate VT Teachers remain the property of the users who submit them, but are displayed under exclusive license to Rate VT Teachers. At any time the users may edit their reviews or contact a Rate VT Teachers administrator to have them deleted. The reviews on this site may not be copied, transmitted, or redistributed to any other website or medium without express written consent of Rate VT Teachers. The opinions contained in the reviews are not those of Rate VT Teachers' owners and operators, but those of the users of the site.
Privacy Policy
No personal information submitted to this site by our users will be divulged to other parties without their permission. We hate spam too, and will under no circumstances ever reveal your email address to a third party. We may use your email address to contact you personally if there are problems with your account or reviews. User information remains private and undisclosed on the site; only the username (alias) appears beside a review, not an e-mail address or name.
This site uses a "session cookie" to distinguish you from other users. Only an arbitrary ID number is stored in this cookie, and it expires shortly after you leave the site. Optionally, you can enable auto login which stores a permanent cookie containing your username and password on your computer. By default, your IP address is recorded in our log files at each visit. We only process this information as a whole, to get an idea of how many visitors we get.
